I still feel relatively new to blogging, but I have really valued the friendships that I have made with many of you in a short time. However, the support that I have received from so many of you in terms of positive comments and emails makes the reality that we are a community feel that much stronger. I was really nervous last night and this morning, but it made a huge difference to me knowing that people were out there rooting for me. I am honored to be part of this community. Thank you!

I TiVo'ed Ms. Elliot's television appearance. She did a terrific job. She was articulate, didn't seemed rushed and never once said "umm...".
